Welcome

The River of Life in Ezekiel 47 is a beautiful picture of what we hope our church will be to our community; "...so where the river flows everything will live."  We believe that the grace we receive in the Gospel of Christ brings life and is sufficient for all our needs.

In our Sunday morning worship time we seek to engage both the head and the heart of every person with the truth of God's Word.  Contemporary worship coupled with relevant Christ-centered preaching brings the Word of God to rest in every area of our lives.  The message of Christ permeates the entire service so that all might see him as Lord.

Operation Christmas Child (OCC)

Our church is pleased to sponsor another year of supporting Operation Christmas Child.

The main purpose of this collection is to provide for children in need around the world . Each year Samaritan Purse sets up collection dates with the local churches.   If you are  interested in giving, place your items in a shoe box or a small plastic box with a lid, along with a $7 check made out to Samaritan Purse to cover the cost of shipping and handling. Click on this link to learn more about how to pack a shoe box.

Gene and Patricia Schreckengost will be providing boxes for those who need them. Please contact them directly for more information.

Please return filled shoe/gift boxes to River of Life, 8323 W. Sand Lake Road, Orlando, FL 32819 on Sunday, November 8 and 15. Thank you.

Family Thanksgiving Day Basket Program (FTDBP)

Article Pic For the past 6 years our church has reached out to serve local families in need by preparing and delivering around 100 food baskets of turkey and all the trimmings in time for Thanksgiving. You can help us make this a success again this year by:

Nominating anyone known to you personally in need by November 13.
•Donating Food or Money.
Shopping (between November 15 & 22) and volunteering for the Phone Team (Saturday, November 21). For these roles there will be a brief orientation after church on November 15.
Delivering Basket after church on Sunday, November 22. This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with a family in the community blessed by this program, and is a great way for families to serve together.

Contact Emmett & Lori Bradford at 407.656.3438 for further details or to volunteer.

Thank you.

EXALT CHRIST, LOVE PEOPLE, SERVE FOR GOD’S GLORY

Article Pic

The ROL Mission Statement, Exalt Christ, Love People, Serve for God's Glory, is illustrated here by Broose Johnson.

The fountain is where Christ's grace and the River of Life begins. We exalt Christ as we worship together on Sunday Mornings.

The River is the river of life where we swim, dive, struggle against the current, play and learn together - "we're all in this together". We encourage everyone to be in a Home/Small Group.

Tree -Ezekiel says, "wherever the river touches, everything will live" - This is the natural result of swimming in grace is service. The tree trunk is a hand reaching upward. It represents that life bearing fruit (in this case oranges... this is Florida after all.)
